Candover Investment, one of Europe’s leading private equity houses, was raising investment for a fund. The company required a secure environment to allow potential investors to view and/or download fund documents. Because some files were confidential, Candover needed to manage them so that investors could view the information online but not download, print or copy the files. The system Candover used for its previous fund was inflexible, complex and expensive.

Candover chose FILESPACE because it provides the company with all the security features it needs along with a perceptive interface. Documents are uploaded easily into the system and then are made public or just available to particular investors. Emails are auto­matically sent by the system to the investors notifying them that the new files can be viewed. Administratorscan then see who has read/downloaded the files via the reporting system. The system is branded in Candover’s web style and has been integrated into its website so that users do not have to login twice.
