Red C offer three levels of hosting. All our projects are hosted with Rackspace and Amazon servers which are backed up on a nightly basis. We can help you choose the right server for your project.
Option 1: Basic Cloud Based Server
This is suitable for a small to mid-sized app projects that are UK based with less that 10,000 active daily users.
512MB RAM / 1 CPU
20GB SSD disk
This option includes weekly backups and keeping an eye on your server's bandwidth, disk and CPU levels.
Option 2: High-Performance Virtual Cloud Server
This is suitable for mid-sized app projects, that may have global users and up to 100,000 active daily users.
2GB RAM / 2 CPUs
80GB SSD disk
This option also includes daily backups and keeping a close eye on your server’s bandwidth, disk, and CPU levels. As well as this, the High-Performance Virtual Cloud Server includes Redundant 10GbE networks fuel high bandwidth applications and Intel® Xeon® processors that boost the performance of compute-intensive workloads.
Option 3: Amazon Cloud Servers
This is suitable for large app projects that require a flexible capacity and an unlimited user activity.
This server is set up as per client’s requirements and in client’s AWS account. This option includes daily backups, as well as elastic web-scale computing that allows you to increase or decrease capacity within minutes. You can commission one, hundreds or even thousands of server instances simultaneously.
Additionally, this option gives complete control over your instances and allows flexible cloud hosting services. You have the choice of multiple instance types, operating systems, and software packages.
Amazon EC2 also offers a highly reliable environment where replacement instances can be rapidly and predictably commissioned. The service runs within Amazon’s proven network infrastructure and data centers. The Amazon EC2 Service Level Agreement commitment is 99.95% availability for each Amazon EC2 Region.
Amazon EC2 works in conjunction with Amazon VPC to provide security and robust networking functionality for your compute resources. Your compute instances are located in a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with an IP range that you specify. You decide which instances are exposed to the Internet and which remain private. Security Groups and networks ACLs allow you to control inbound and outbound network access to and from your instances. You can connect your existing IT infrastructure to resources in your VPC using industry-standard encrypted IPsec VPN connections. For additional isolation, you can provision your EC2 resources on Dedicated Hosts or as Dedicated Instances. Both allow you to use EC2 instances in a VPC on hardware dedicated to a single customer.
